GOAL #17 Complete

Goal #17 Complete - Hang with Reindeer

I'm not going to lie, this is by far one of my favorite things that I've done. The staff at the Reindeer farm in Palmer, AK, are great, and not only allow you to visit with and feed the Reindeer, they send you away with a whole wealth of knowledge on Santa's furry helpers.
These reindeer are so domesticated that they are used in movies, and events such as Fur Rondy where they outshine humans in the running with the reindeer.
And just for the record, Santa's reindeer aren't a bunch of guys that pick on Rudolf. Oh no ho ho! They are actually females. Male Reindeer shed their antlers in the winter and are antler free by Christmas.
